RECREATION IN FAIRFIELD GLADE

Fairfield Glade is an excellent resort that has 81 holes of championship golf on 12,000 prime Cumberland Plateau acres, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Enjoy boating, fishing, horseback riding and even square dancing in this spectacular resort. Almost every conceivable recreational activity can be found here. DORCHESTER GOLF COURSE IN FAIRFIELD GLADE

Among Fairfield Glade's collection of breathtaking golf courses is the much-demanded Dorchester Country Club. The 18-hole course features Bent grass greens and narrow, tree-lined fairways, favorably placed sand bunkers, and water on 8 of the 18 golf holes, requiring precision shot-making off the tees, and making Dorchester Golf Club a challenge for even the most skillful golfer. The many water hazards and advantageously placed sand traps provide a welcomed challenge for every level of golfer. If you are hitting them short but straight and you like contrasting nines, Dorchester will absolutely provide.

 

Dorchester Golf Course features 6382 yards from the Blue tees with a rating of 70.5 and a par of 72. It has an amazing estimated number of 47,500 (estimated) rounds played annually. This 18-hole "Dorchester" course at the Dorchester Country Club proudly features all the hallmarks of Tennessee golf. Beautifully designed by Bobby Greenwood, the golf course opened in 1981. Fairfield Glade Community Club efficiently manages this facility.
